LOCATION Flowing into Gander Bay on Newfoundland's Northeast Coast is the 37-mile long Gander River. Since 1991, the river's annual run of wild Atlantic salmon has increased steadily to over 25,000 fish - one of the most remarkable wildstock recoveries of the 20th century. And every one of those fish swims right by our door. During the main salmon run as many as 175 fish per hour leap right in front of our camp.
Our experienced guides will ferry you through the rattles and steadies to any of the pools within minutes of our camp. Cast your line on secluded waters. There are places here where the only other person you'll see is your guide.
